About The Position

The Quality Inspector I will perform basic inspections and sorting of incoming materials, parts/components. Provide support as needed to the Operations group. You will be responsible for: Perform inspections of purchased parts according to well-defined criteria using standard visual, physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements Ability to perform visual inspection on large lots size under a microscope. Accurately document the results of inspections and testing Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner Perform data entry into associated data systems.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • 1 year or less in a manufacturing environment - Medical device experience a plus.
  • Ability to use inspection gages and microscopes
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and inspection procedures
  • Basic knowledge in math
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Knowledge in ISO and GMP.
  • US FDA 21 CFR QSR and ISO 13485 a plus

  • Medical device experience a plus.
