About The Position

The Quality Inspector I conducts internal quality controls to ensure established quality procedures and norms are followed. Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by conducting routine quality analysis and tests/inspections of a quality control program, where duties and tasks are standardized. You will monitor and record inconsistencies with quality procedures and norms, prepare standard quality analysis and recommend necessary quality procedure changes. You will also report any discrepancies to the department supervisor, record and analyze customer claims, and assist with quality training to ensure all employees are educated on proper techniques to achieve quality requirements. Coordinating rework of products as necessary is also a key part of this role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• One to two years of relevant experience (required)
• Familiarity with ISO requirements and engineering drawings
• Understanding of basic mathematical skills
• Proficiency in relevant systems and software

Nice To Haves

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
