About The Position

The Quality Inspector I performs first piece, in process, and final inspections. This role has the authority to stop production if parts do not pass. The inspector reads and understands print drawings and specifications for correct test requirements, procedures, and sampling plans. They receive and document sample parts into the Quality Lab tracking system, review lab test results to ensure all operations have been properly performed and recorded, and issue and track production gages to the manufacturing floor. The inspector may also sort parts in the lab if required and assist the Quality Engineer and Manager as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail Oriented
• Basic Math Skills
• Has a sense of urgency and is proactive.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office.
