About The Position
The Quality Inspector I will support all inspection activities including incoming, in-process and final inspections to ensure final product and documentation meet all company and customer requirements.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Requires attention to detail and the ability to read drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment and quality background
- 3 plus years’ experience.
Responsibilities
- Use an Optical Comparator for measurement of parts and characteristics.
- Use video measurement equipment to measure part dimensions.
- Understand and perform to all current quality standards.
- Prepare and update Company and Customer inspection records as required.
- Communicate inspection results effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Use basic statistical techniques for evaluation of measurement data and trending including SPC and Process Capability.
- Accurately completes all required electronic transactions and paperwork.
- Utilize various measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, gages, and other handheld measuring devices for open set ups.
- Prepare and update Company and Customer inspection records as required.
- Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements.
