About The Position

Xyant Technology is seeking a Quality Inspector for an aerospace/aircraft role. This position involves performing mechanical and cosmetic inspections, providing quality control activities including new product introduction, and offering inspection services for incoming goods, returns, and assembly. The role also requires documenting non-conformances, reporting quality issues to leadership, and conducting First Article inspections. This is a 3-month contract position located in Everett, WA, and is an onsite role.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience performing Mechanical and Cosmetic Inspections using tools like CMMs, borescopes, or GD&T specs required.
• Briefly describe your experience navigating these quality control processes in a manufacturing environment.
• It is essential that the successful candidate have solid inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment.
• Technically competent, able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
• Attention to Detail: Capable of maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
• Familiarity with Quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports. (also essential)

Nice To Haves

• Aerospace / aviation manufacturing experience (Not mandatory)
