About The Position

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our rapidly growing team in Morrisville, North Carolina. The Quality team is responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to the manufacturing process including operating equipment, assembling products, performing quality control checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
• High School graduate or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Visually, manually, and digitally examining products and raw materials to ensure they meet Anduril standards as described by engineering, both internal and external, as well as quality management system (QMS) requirements.
• Using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and/or metrology to measure product dimensions to verify they match the design.
• Running tests to identify defects and using machines to test products via Tap testing, manual testing, and NDT/NDI methods.
• Comparing products to a model to ensure they meet high standards.
• Reporting inspection and test data, such as weights, temperatures, and quantities inspected.
• Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process.
• Removing/Red tagging products and materials that don't meet specifications until the issue is resolved.
• Communicating product quality standards to Technicians, leads, and managers.
