In this role, your responsibilities will be to follow and implement standard quality procedures. You will perform standardized dimensional, mechanical, and visual inspection of subassemblies, finished and semi-finished components and parts for size, correct material, finish, appearance, and other pertinent requirements. You will devise routine dimensional gauging set-ups, make out report and rejections slips and record data to Crosby specifications. You will plan and perform a sequence of operations for inspection using all types of measuring apparatus such as micrometers, verniers, height and depth comparator and air gages, etc. You will perform first piece part, bench and periodic inspection as necessary within the limits of standard practice. You will refer all questionable cases to the Inspection Supervisor and report reasons for defects or malfunctions.
