Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Significant experience inspecting a variety of parts using standard measuring tools and specialized gauging required.
Familiarity with operating a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) required.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.
Excellent communication skills with ability to provide constructive feedback in a respectful and supportive manner, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Nice To Haves

Certified quality technician or technical/ vocational training in machining or manufacturing is preferred.
Experience in a CNC Machine Shop preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Inspect a variety of parts using standard measuring and test equipment, as well as specialized gauging.
Ensure all inspections align with customer specifications, internal quality standards, and applicable regulations.
Support calibration of inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Support evaluations to ensure suppliers meet specified quality standards.
Input inspection results into the ERP system for accepted and rejected parts.
Verify the quantities of materials and hardware listed on the route sheet throughout the production process.
Ensure all inspection results are accurately recorded and documented in the QA system.
Review vendor-supplied documentation for completeness and compliance.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality outcomes.
Support development and delivery of training programs for team members on quality standards, inspection tools, and processes.
Support internal and external quality audits as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
