Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years relevant experience to role, or 5+ years relevant experience with no/non-tech degree.
  • Ability to read and apply Blueprints / Quality Requirements information to tasks.
  • Working level understanding of GD&T and its relation to gaging.
  • Experience performing Manual Inspections using Hand Gages, Optical Comparators, and Advanced (Johnson) Thread Gages.
  • Experience with Visual Inspection and Digital Photographic documentation.
  • Ability to obtain, review, comprehend, verify, and compile Technical Records and Quality documents, including C of C's.
  • Proficiency in entering technical data into forms and systems / retrieving data accurately.
  • Experience supporting the creation of First Article Inspection Reports (AS 9102 FAIR).
  • Daily capable user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks.
  • Experience operating in procedure-based and regulatory-controlled environments.
  • Must be a "U.S Person" due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process aero-engine hardware at Receiving and orders ready for Shipping.
  • Perform inspections, including gaging parts and visual review.
  • Verify the availability, accuracy, and completeness of associated quality documents.
  • Enter technical data (Quality Records) into internal customer systems/databases and customer data submittal portals.
  • Support First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) packages creation by providing FAI Inspection and Quality Record verification.
  • Identify, segregate, and document Non-Conforming Material.
  • Interact with multiple computer systems/software.
  • Collaborate daily with Project/Team leader and Peers.
  • Contribute to Quest Global's growth while learning and developing your career.
