About The Position

Quest Global is seeking a temporary Quality Inspection Technician for a contract role in Enfield, CT. This position is based at a Connecticut-based A&D Industry Small Parts Distribution Center. The primary responsibilities involve the review and processing of aero-engine hardware at receiving and for shipment. This includes verification inspection, quality document reviews, and data entry into internal systems and customer portals. The role also requires performing First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, spotting, segregating, and documenting Non-Conforming Material, and interacting with multiple computer systems and software. The technician will collaborate daily with their Project/Team leader and peers, contributing to Quest Global's growth while developing their own career.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years relevant experience to role, OR 5+ years relevant experience to role with no/non-tech degree.
  • Ability to read and apply Blueprints / Quality Requirements information to task.
  • Proficiency in Performing Manual Inspection / Use of Gages.
  • Ability to review, comprehend, and compile technical data.
  • Experience entering technical data into forms and systems / retrieving data accurately.
  • Knowledge/Involvement with First Article Inspection Reviews (AS 9102 FAIR).
  • Prior roles with reporting responsibilities, requirements, metrics.
  • Daily user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks.
  • Experience operating in procedure-based and regulatory controlled environments.
  • Must be a "U.S Person" due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities
