About The Position

Quest Global is seeking a temporary Quality Inspection Technician for a 3-month contract role. The position is located at a Connecticut-based A&D Industry Small Parts Distribution Center. The primary responsibilities include reviewing and processing aero-engine hardware at receiving and orders ready for shipment. This involves verification inspection, quality document reviews, and data entry into internal systems and customer portals. The role also requires performing First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, spotting, segregating, and documenting Non-Conforming Material, interacting with multiple computer systems/software, and collaborating daily with project/team leaders and peers. Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years relevant experience to role.
  • Alternate: 5+ years relevant experience to role with no/non-tech degree.
  • Reading and applying Blueprints/Quality Requirements information to task.
  • Performing Manual Inspection/Use of Gages.
  • Reviewing, comprehending, and compiling technical data.
  • Entering technical data into forms and systems/retrieving data accurately.
  • Knowledge/Involvement with First Article Inspection Reviews (AS 9102 FAIR).
  • Prior roles with reporting responsibilities, requirements, metrics.
  • Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook – daily user.
  • Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks.
  • Operating in procedure-based and regulatory controlled environments.
  • Must be able to commute to and from the location with own transportation.
  • Must be a "U.S Person".

Responsibilities
