This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe working environment, developing and planning inspections to ensure quality products are produced on time, and implementing processes to improve inspection capabilities. The supervisor will communicate company policies, facilitate fact-based information flow, and engage in continuous improvement activities using methodologies like DMAIC or PDCA. Responsibilities include recommending improvements in production, equipment, and procedures, establishing maintenance requirements, assessing employee performance, providing feedback, conducting reviews, and implementing corrective actions. The role also involves identifying and implementing necessary personnel coaching and training, managing productivity and resource allocation, and maintaining effective communication with other departments to optimize production and process improvement. Compliance with ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485:2003, as well as OSHA safety standards, is required.
