About The Position

The Quality Improvement Specialist at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for enhancing the quality of care and services provided by the organization. This role involves analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in behavioral health required
  • Experience reviewing clinical documentation, quality assurance, compliance monitoring, or related quality functions strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in using quality improvement tools and methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDSA cycles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization software.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives in line with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to design and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accreditation, regulatory, and licensing standards.
  • Facilitate training and education programs for staff to promote quality improvement practices.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality improvement activities and outcomes to management and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a resource for staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams to address quality and safety issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality improvement techniques.
