This role involves conducting Quality Improvement Reviews, tracking compliance issues, staying updated on regulatory standards, and assisting with policy development and audits to ensure quality service to clients.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of experience working in alcohol/drug treatment.
  • Be registered upon hire under an accredited drug and alcohol certification program, CAADE, CADTP, or CCAPP (required).
  • Completed twelve years of education or have a GED.
  • Complete continuing education and trainings as required by Cedar House, County, and State mandates.
  • Maintain current CPR/First Aid/AED.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the nature of alcohol/drug addiction and its recovery process.
  • Knowledge of state, county, and CARF substance use disorder treatment facility standards.
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to address stressful situations in a calm manner and be able to communicate in a positive way.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Quality Improvement Reviews for all programs at intake, during treatment, and at discharge.
  • Track trends of re-occurring compliance issues and report them to the Quality Improvement Coordinator.
  • Keep up to date on regulatory and licensing standards by program requirements; identify changes and new requirements.
  • Attend compliance and/or quality assurance meetings at the county.
  • Maintain timely and reliable attendance.
  • Assist in developing and revising policies and procedures by regulatory and licensing requirements.
  • Assist as necessary with stakeholder audits.
  • Assist in compliance and revising tools, policies, and procedures to assist with compliance with quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide quality service to clients as required by Cedar House Life Change Center, State, and County Requirements.
  • Perform life-saving measures when needed to protect the lives of Cedar House clients and employees.
  • Consistently apply trauma-responsive practices to promote safety, trust, and healing.
  • Train or assist in the trainings of co-workers as needed.
  • Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
