This role leads the Agency Quality Improvement (QI) program, focusing on the evaluation, development, implementation, and coordination of mental health and substance use programs and services. The goal is to ensure consistency and compliance with the Agency's clinical framework, established practices, contract requirements, financial goals, and applicable regulations. The position involves creating and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), monitoring and revising clinical policies, developing data sources and reporting systems, analyzing data to identify needs, and recommending changes to clinical programs. It also includes designing and implementing continuous improvement activities, managing clinical documentation, overseeing risk management systems, and participating in the development of clinical pathways and utilization review systems. The role also involves developing special projects, establishing protocols and training for staff compliance, representing the agency with payors, presenting to the Board of Directors, and supervising subordinate staff.
