Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody values of excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose to join our Quality Administration team at Methodist Hospital in the role of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Advisor. This position will work within the Indianapolis Metro region in a hybrid capacity. The Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Advisor is a mission-critical, regional role responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives with a strong focus on reducing hospital readmissions across the Indianapolis Metro region. This individual will spend much of their time analyzing data, managing and interpreting dashboards, extracting information from multiple data sources including the electronic health record, and partnering with clinical, operational, quality, and executive leaders to identify opportunities for improvement. The role is highly collaborative and meeting-intensive, requiring someone who can effectively present data, facilitate discussions with leadership teams, implement evidence-based best practices, and lead performance improvement projects from conception through execution. Success in the role will be measured by the ability to understand readmission best practices, translate them into actionable strategies, drive measurable improvements, develop countermeasures when performance gaps are identified, and influence stakeholders across a highly matrixed healthcare environment.
