About The Position

Perform all required tasks and operate all equipment in the assigned Testing Lab.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and comprehend SOP’s and work instructions.
• Must be physically able to perform all job functions.
• Must be willing and able to cross-train in all lab areas.
• Strong Computer skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience working as a lab technician or machinist.

Responsibilities

• Measure, inspect, repair, and calibrate precision measuring equipment.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance of measuring equipment by standards.
• Document measuring equipment status in tracking systems.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and repair.
• Data entry and review.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment including 5S and housekeeping.
• Report non-conformances and assist in corrective actions.
• Problem solve and support continual improvements of the process.
• Accurate measurement with micrometers, calipers and other devices.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime based on production needs.
