3rd shift - Quality Final Inspector

About The Position

Hohman Plating, a division of Novaria Group, provides plated coatings to customers in aerospace, medical, large equipment, and other industries. The Quality Final Inspector position flexes between inspection and planning to cover day-to-day work volume. The role requires prior inspection experience, blueprint reading, data entry, and familiarity with measurement tools and quality systems. Training is provided on first shift for up to 90 days; after training, the position works third shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 1–3 years of related experience and/or training.
Prior inspection experience.
Prior data entry experience and ability to type approximately 35 words per minute.
Ability to pass a purchase order comparative test.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including requirements and dimensional tolerances.
Familiarity with gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including regularly lifting or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
Vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Nice To Haves

Plating or coatings experience.
Measurement device calibration experience.
Quality system experience, such as ISO, AS, or Nadcap.
Small machine shop production or inspection experience.
Paint shop, production, or inspection experience.
Inventory or small machine shop planning experience.

Responsibilities

Flex between inspection and planning to cover work volume as required day to day.
Perform inspection-related duties using measurement tools and blueprint requirements.
Perform planning-related duties as needed.
