About The Position

Provide expert technical support, coordination, and oversight for assigned Quality programs supporting the Nestlé USA Nutrition business. As a member of the US Market Nutrition Quality team, this role manages intermarket supply quality activities, leads factory and co-manufacturer compliance routines, supports deployment of Nutrition-specific standards, and provides oversight of consumer and customer complaints. The role also coordinates the Nutrition Business Review of Quality, manages the local technical acceptance process, and maintains organic certification across applicable factories, co-manufacturing sites, and distribution centers. The position works independently within its defined responsibilities while collaborating with the Quality Director, Senior Expert Quality, other Quality team members, factories, co-manufacturers, and cross-functional partners. The role identifies and escalates significant or systemic risks and contributes to broader Nutrition Quality priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or another relevant technical discipline.
Minimum 7 years of food-related Quality Assurance, food safety, regulatory, or manufacturing experience.
Experience with Food Safety and Quality Management System processes, auditing, compliance assessment, and continuous improvement.
Experience supporting or leading Quality and food safety programs across manufacturing operations.
Experience working with factories, co-manufacturers, suppliers, or intermarket supply networks.
Experience conducting Quality performance reviews, interpreting trends, and translating data into clear actions and business insights.
Experience coordinating audits, certifications, or compliance action plans.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and deliver results through cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Ability to work independently within an assigned portfolio and as part of a broader team with shared accountability.
Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with factory teams, technical specialists, and senior business leaders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and data-reporting tools; experience with SAP or similar Quality systems preferred.
Commitment to Quality and food safety culture, continuous improvement, and disciplined follow-through.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree preferred.
HACCP and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual training preferred.
Lead auditor training or experience with GFSI-recognized food safety management systems preferred.
Organic certification experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage Quality requirements and routines for Nutrition intermarket supply, including coordination with supplying markets, factories, co-manufacturers, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and other stakeholders.
Lead recurring compliance reviews with Nutrition factory and co-manufacturer Quality Managers to assess performance, compliance status, emerging risks, and progress against action plans.
Coordinate the rollout of select Nutrition-specific standards and requirements at factories and co-manufacturers, including communication of requirements, implementation tracking, gap identification, and action follow-up.
Help ensure adherence to applicable Nestlé policies, Quality Management System requirements, Nutrition standards, and local or international regulatory requirements within the assigned scope.
Lead preparation and execution of the Nutrition Business Review of Quality in partnership with the Nutrition Quality team.
Manage the local technical acceptance process for assigned Nutrition products, manufacturing sites, co-manufacturers, and changes, including coordination of required reviews, documentation, conditions, and approvals.
Manage maintenance of organic certification for applicable factories, co-manufacturing sites, and distribution centers.
Provide oversight of Nutrition consumer and customer complaint performance through routine data review, trending, and identification of recurring or emerging issues.
Coordinate timely technical assessment and response for sensitive complaints, engaging the appropriate factories, co-manufacturers, Consumer Engagement Services, Regulatory, Legal, and technical subject matter experts.
Partner with sites and cross-functional teams to investigate complaint drivers, strengthen root cause analysis, and identify corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Use performance data, loss analysis, complaints, and compliance findings to recommend and support quality improvement priorities.
