This role is responsible for responding to the immediate needs of production or the customer by troubleshooting and assisting with problem-solving and quality concern resolution. The technician will document problem resolutions and corrective actions, coordinate customer inspections, and facilitate testing and certification of orders. They will also perform or coordinate validation of controlled processes, assist with in-process, final, and vendor inspection tasks, and coordinate or perform calibration of in-house test equipment. Additionally, the role involves supporting the Quality Coordinator with calibration of gauging, monitoring and helping control scrap, revising and maintaining process documentation, measuring and analyzing key quality performance data, and facilitating resolution and communication of internal problems identified through the LifeLines (Corrective Action system).
