About The Position

Manufacturer of large custom-designed control valves, you will work in a dynamic and high-tech production facility based in our Marshalltown, Iowa location. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Develop metrics to assess manufacturing conformance to requirements, including supplier conformance. Drive improvement of the metrics. Manage a team to support site quality systems and continuous improvement to maintain site ISO and ASME certifications and other industry standards as required. Coordinate investigation of customer related quality issues between manufacturing and the customer service network. Coordinate all required audits including internal, supplier, as well as hosting 3rd party agencies and customer audits. Responsible for consistent application of company policies in the department. Assures that objectives stated above are attained without violation of terms agreed to in union contract. Coordinate and communicate with all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field and 4 years of quality assurance or quality engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Compliance assessment and development of quality systems, procedures, methods, and personnel.
  • Good understanding of Fisher products and their part inter-relationships as they relate to form, fit, and function of the product design.
  • Application of critical quality characteristics and their verification of conformance to specified requirements.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO 9000).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this position
