Quality Engineering Manager
About The Position
We’re looking for a Quality Engineering Manager who is ready to lead a high‑caliber team and shape the future of our manufacturing and product quality. In this role, you will champion proactive quality engineering practices that prevent defects, strengthen process capability, and ensure our products meet the highest technical and regulatory standards. You’ll guide quality oversight from early design through full‑rate production—helping ensure our centrifuge components and processes are robust, efficient, and ready for release. What You’ll Do You’ll guide a high-performing team of quality engineers and play a key role in ensuring our products and processes are built for excellence. In this role, you’ll shape quality strategy, strengthen manufacturing capability, and drive improvement across the full product lifecycle. You’ll lead APQP efforts, champion robust processes and measurement systems, oversee root-cause investigations, and use data to elevate performance. You’ll partner closely with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure requirements are met, risks are mitigated, and quality expectations are consistently exceeded.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE/NRC Q Clearance within one year of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, or a similar technical discipline
- Four years of nuclear (ASME NQA‑1) experience
- Experience with advanced problem-solving, process improvement, and supporting design and manufacturing engineering interfaces
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
- Must be tested for the absence of any illegal drug prior to an offer of employment being made.
- Must be willing to participate in a random drug testing program.
- Must be willing to be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if there is reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
- Must be willing to undergo a background investigation by the Federal government.
- Must be willing to undergo subsequent Federal government reinvestigations.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, or similar field
- Ten years of total Quality experience, including at least four years in nuclear applications
