About The Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineering Intern. The position offers an opportunity to apply classroom-learned skills while supporting defense programs and projects associated with GDMS’s mission. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on technical projects and work alongside colleagues supporting high-stakes national security missions. Requirements

Be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within the facilities.
Selected applicants must undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
A Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of hire is preferred.
