About The Position

Moog’s Process Quality Engineering team within the Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer 2027 block intern. This position is based onsite in Torrance, California, and requires the ability to relocate for the duration of the internship. The intern will contribute to engineering work and provide technical support to engineers. Depending on the student’s educational discipline, work may involve data analysis, process improvement, testing, root cause investigation, documentation, and participation in customer meetings. The intern will provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution while working as a multidisciplinary team member and representing Moog professionally. The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Requirements

• Be enrolled at an accredited university in an Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant bachelor's or master's degree program.
• Have a GPA of at least 3.0; the exact GPA requirement will be specified by the department.
• Be able to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Demonstrate a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Perform work that may include data analysis, process improvement, testing, root cause investigation, documentation, and/or participation in customer meetings, based on educational discipline.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
