This position will support the Quality Engineering group typically working as an assignee on smaller scale Quality Engineering projects or tasks related to larger scale Quality Engineering projects. Requirements
- Enrolled in a relevant Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or technology program.
Nice To Haves
- 2nd or 3rd year/term student
- Six Sigma Training
- Lean Manufacturing Training
- Solid Works education
Responsibilities
- Line layout
- Process Mapping
- Drafting (initial or update)
- Procedures/Setup Sheets (Work instructions/Workmanship standards)
- Fixture improvement/design
- 5S Kaizen events
- Lean Kaizen events
- Performing Validation protocols
- Presentation and reporting on specific assigned projects or tasks
