About The Position

This internship role focuses on ensuring material quality through managing incoming inspections and providing guidance to manufacturing sites. The intern will collaborate with design engineers and suppliers to ensure clear communication of technical specifications and consistent adherence. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality documentation, driving process improvements in material review and production part approval, and building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to foster alignment and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
Zero (0) years of related experience
Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Pursuing a bachelor’s in Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering
GPA of 3.0 or above
Prior internship experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Ensure material quality by managing incoming inspections and providing expert guidance to both local and global manufacturing sites.
Collaborate with design engineers and suppliers to ensure technical specifications are clearly communicated and consistently met.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, material verification methods, and quality control procedures.
Drive process improvements by supporting enhancements to the material review and production part approval processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, commodity teams, operations, and engineering teams to foster alignment and continuous improvement.
