As a Quality Engineering Director within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

Sets and governs the quality engineering strategy, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and comprehensive end-to-end testing across programs.
Establishes and enforces standards and operating models for test execution and environment coordination, holding teams accountable for consistent execution and adherence to quality metrics. Serves as a subject matter expert to guide solution development.
Proactively identifies systemic risks, gaps and quality deficiencies and directs cross-functional resolution efforts by mobilizing Quality Engineering leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
Owns enterprise quality performance, leveraging defect metrics, trend analysis, and post-production insights to set expectations, drive accountability, and continuously improve delivery outcomes.
Leads the advancement of Quality Engineering practices by institutionalizing continuous improvement, embedding best practices, and driving adoption of modern testing methodologies across the organization.
Reviews workforce and capability strategy for Quality Engineering, including resource planning, leadership development, and budget alignment, while fostering a high-performing organization and advancing adoption of emerging industry trends within delivery teams.
