Flex is seeking a Quality Engineering Co-Op for Spring 2027 at its Orangeburg, SC site. This role supports the Quality Team with projects focused on yields, performance, and Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production, and NPI. Requirements
- Rising Junior/Senior level students currently pursuing BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related major.
- Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the Spring 2027 semester.
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university.
- 3.0 minimum GPA.

- Risk Analysis and Statistics coursework helpful.
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment.
- Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication and leadership skills (will be speaking with suppliers and interacting with cross-functional teams).
- Previous Quality related internship experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining quality standards across production, operations, or service processes.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests on materials, components, or finished products.
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality-related data to identify trends, defects, or improvement opportunities.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Help update and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and audit reports.
- Provide general support to the Quality team on day-to-day tasks and special projects.
