About The Position

Victrex is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Metrology & Validation to join the TxV Aerospace Composites team in Bristol, Rhode Island. This is a hands-on manufacturing quality role focused on metrology and validation, with responsibility for helping ensure products and processes are right the first time. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering and Operations to solve manufacturing problems, improve processes, and use measurement data to support root-cause analysis and corrective action.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on CMM programming and dimensional inspection experience.
• Solid working knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience in manufacturing quality, metrology, or validation.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
• Familiarity with FAI, MSA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and FMEA.
• Practical problem-solving skills and confidence working across Quality, Engineering, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM and dimensional inspection equipment.
• Develop inspection methods and measurement plans.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and AS9102 requirements.
• Lead MSA and Gauge R&R activities.
• Support validation, qualification, and manufacturing readiness.
• Contribute to APQP, PPAP, and NPI activities.
• Use measurement data to troubleshoot issues and drive root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Work with Engineering and Operations to solve problems and improve processes.
