Position: Quality Engineer (Plastic Injection Molding) Location: Hudson, MA (on-site) Schedule: Monday to Friday (based on business needs) Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 (Dependent on Experience) Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Position Summary: This crucial role will be responsible for leading the quality team while ensuring the production of high-quality parts and components through proper measurement and testing practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in testing plastics injection molding products
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Previous blueprint experience and GD&T knowledge
- FAI (First Article Inspection) & PPAP understandin
- Prior programming and use of PC-DMIS for CMM
- Be a team-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability read, write, and communicate in English
Responsibilities
- Formatting quality plans, contract reviews, and launching new products to the floor
- Providing timely communication and delivery of test reports to customers
- Investigating and resolving quality issues by implementing corrective actions
- Developing and controlling inspection plans for molding and secondary operations
- Supporting and enforcing the ISO 9001:2015 management system
- Utilizing and programming the CMM, Micro-Vu, optical comparators, and hand-held measuring equipment
- Assisting team with all quality tests
- Train, manage, and effectively lead team of quality personnel
