About The Position

Quality Control Inspector responsible for conducting high-volume pre-shipment inspections of consumer goods, packaging, paper, printing products, and luxury bags. The role requires strong knowledge of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 AQL standards, accurate defect classification, hands-on product testing, detailed report writing, and professional communication with clients and suppliers.

Requirements

2–3+ years of QA/QC experience
2–3+ years of pre-shipment inspection experience
Strong knowledge of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 AQL sampling standards
Experience with finished-goods and pre-shipment inspections
Experience with defect classification and AQL acceptance levels
Experience with dimensional, functional, barcode, rub, odor, weight, carton stacking, and drop testing
Experience with high-volume inspection with a target of 300+ pieces per day
Experience with inspection reporting with photographic documentation
Experience with consumer goods, packaging, paper, printing, or luxury bag inspections
Experience with client-facing inspections and supplier-facility work
Ability to identify quality risks and improvement opportunities
Strong report writing skills
Professional customer-facing communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Organized and dependable
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Must be able to travel around Mt Pleasant, WI and nearby areas
