About The Position

This hourly Union position is primarily responsible for final inspection of outgoing product and for shipping, receiving, and delivering supplies, materials, and equipment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role requires handling a fast-paced environment and may require staying until outgoing trucks are loaded for the day.

Requirements

• Some familiarity with welding or welded products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think, problem-solve, and adjust quickly to situations.
• Willingness to work until outgoing trucks are loaded for the day.
• Regular attendance, communication, and ability to meet committed deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide final inspection of outgoing product and band chain and other related products, with the assistance of cranes or hoists and physical handling.
• Accurately and efficiently handle pick lists, bills of lading, shipping documents, and paperwork.
• Operate a dot peen marking machine to stamp (engrave) products.
• Properly package products for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks; remain until outgoing trucks are loaded for the day.
• Ship, receive, and deliver supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance, communicate, and meet committed deadlines.
