About The Position

Quality Control Inspector responsible for conducting high-volume pre-shipment inspections of consumer goods, packaging, paper, printing products, and luxury bags. The role requires strong knowledge of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 AQL standards, accurate defect classification, hands-on product testing, detailed report writing, and professional communication with clients and suppliers.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of QA/QC experience
  • 2–3+ years of pre-shipment inspection experience
  • ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 AQL sampling standards
  • Finished-goods and pre-shipment inspections
  • Defect classification and AQL acceptance levels
  • Dimensional, functional, barcode, rub, odor, weight, carton stacking, and drop testing
  • High-volume inspection with a target of 300+ pieces per day
  • Inspection reporting with photographic documentation
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Consumer goods, packaging, paper, printing, or luxury bag inspections
  • Client-facing inspections and supplier-facility work
  • Ability to identify quality risks and improvement opportunities
  • Measuring tape or ruler
  • Cotton strips for rub testing
  • Barcode scanning device or app
  • Personal PPE, including safety boots, safety glasses, and a high-visibility vest
  • Strong report writing
  • Professional customer-facing communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organized and dependable
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
