About The Position

This role supports the Medical Technologies business at the Brookings plant, which is a make-to-order business and represents the customer in the manufacturing setting. The Quality Engineer will engage peers and work cross-functionally to support the product line and drive prioritized projects. They will be responsible for dispositioning non-conforming product, addressing the root cause of non-conformance, identifying opportunities, and leading product teams in quality and service improvements. Analyzing non-conforming trends in respective value streams to identify opportunities for improvement is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

  • Experience communicating with stakeholders through verbal discussions, presentations, and written communications.
  • Experience performing root cause investigations and supporting corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Experience analyzing data to support investigations, process improvements, or decision-making activities.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Medical Technologies business; the Brookings plant’s only make-to-order business and representing the customer in the manufacturing setting.
