About The Position

Enjet Aero is seeking an organized, experienced Quality Engineer to improve existing quality procedures and processes and collaborate with team members to develop new quality controls, tests, and verifications. The role calls for experience establishing and testing parameters, participating in peer reviews, and designing and implementing quality assurance control systems. The position supports the manufacture of complex aerospace components for commercial, defense, and general aviation customers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a minimum of three years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven knowledge of print reading, ANSI-Y-14.5, and AS9102 completion.
Demonstrated knowledge of SPC and PPAP, and working knowledge of GD&T.
Experience with AS9100 quality standards.
Ability to interpret technical instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to communicate effectively and present reports to all levels of the organization and to various levels of customer organizations.

Nice To Haves

Pratt & Whitney experience.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with special processes such as heat treating, shot peening, and NDT.

Responsibilities

Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and contract requirements to develop and implement quality plans and inspections.
Develop and submit FAIRs to internal and external customers.
Develop, review, and analyze statistical data obtained from manufacturing processes.
Develop, review, and analyze Gage R&R studies.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
Contribute to the team environment by accomplishing related results as needed.
