The Quality Engineer will lead process improvement initiatives using tools and methods such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to eliminate quality losses and deviations within a Distribution Center. This role involves delivering expected functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and creating standard work to reduce process variation. The position also assists with reviewing and responding to quality-focused process improvement projects, compiling deviations to playbooks, and providing input for project ideation and replication. The Quality Engineer will support the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology, manage project execution for top quality losses, and assist in building the capability of other managers and associates. Additionally, this role involves creating quality loss profile analysis, developing gap analyses for WPS integration, and supporting Department Managers with WPS programs, associate engagement, and KPI improvements. The Quality Engineer will lead quality-related savings projects, promote company policies and values, and demonstrate expertise in developing and executing action plans. This role requires building relationships with stakeholders, identifying business needs, monitoring progress, and adapting to changes. It also involves providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting a culture of belonging, respect, integrity, customer focus, and excellence.
