About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day coordination of plant quality activities in accordance with QMS procedures. Assist the Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining quality procedures and systems (Internal Audits, Layered Process Audits, Gauge Calibration, etc.). Monitor and coordinate the corrective action system at the plant level. Contribute to the development and implementation of Quality department requirements, including process control, inspection and test, SPC, and performance tracking. Conduct R&R studies and ensure compliance with PPAP submittal and approval requirements for both suppliers and customers. Perform capability studies as required and drive quality improvements for current and new products. Maintain required recordkeeping to document and sustain quality control processes. Participate actively in plant continuous quality improvement activities (Scrap/Rework/CoQ reduction, etc.). Manage and maintain supplier development programs. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-year or associate’s degree from an accredited college with a major in Engineering/Engineering Technology or a similar field, along with at least five (5) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient skills in disciplined problem-solving methodologies and techniques (8D preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Background in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
  • Proven communication (verbal and written), analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (experience with SharePoint a plus).
  • Action-oriented individual with a result-driven mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and team development skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in Engineering/Engineering Technology or a similar field, along with at least three (3) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CATIA V5, Pro/E, AutoCAD, UG, or related CAD software.
  • CMM experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
  • Project management and customer interaction experience preferred.
