Role Definition Provide quality leadership in machine shop environments thru the gathering and organization of information and processes to fulfill internal and external customer requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related discipline. Will consider work history in lieu of degree
Understanding of production cadence and machine shop environment
Experience with ISO 9001-2015
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) ASME Y14.5M
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Experience with ERP/MRP Systems

Nice To Haves

Creo or NX software
Non destructive testing experience (MPI, FPI)
6 Sigma/Lean experience or training

Responsibilities

Support PPAP requirements and documentation
Support programming / running of CMM/Laser machines (PCDMIS)
Interact and problem solve with inspectors and inspection process issues
Understand and use of conventional inspection tools and gages. (Surface plate inspection)
Enact and facilitate process improvement efforts including root cause/corrective action
Work with team to resolve non-conformance issues
Work with team in calibration responsibilities
