CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Irving, TX: Quality Engineer to Design and develop software tests for quality assurance to ensure proper implementation of information technology projects.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Two (2) years of experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles.
  • Two (2) years of experience with REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs.
  • Two (2) years of experience with JIRA, Rally, or Confluence.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Two (2) years of experience in Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Domain support for healthcare or retail organization.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Relational database concepts.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Software development best practices.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases.

Responsibilities

  • Work on QA team to execute quality strategy by implementing test automation and other QA engineering solutions that ensure high quality software product delivery.
  • Manage and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of test automation solutions and/or business requirement models in support of Agile/product delivery and Behavior Driven Design (BDD) process delivery.
  • Implement test automation and other QA engineering solutions that ensure high quality software product delivery.
  • Serve as the technical and functional subject matter expert on integrated applications and end to end testing.
  • Design test plans, scripts, and procedures and document software defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Responsible for project oversight including planning, design, implementation, execution, and evaluation.
  • Identify efficiency improvements across the team and recommend new QA technologies including automation tools.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements in leadership meetings and project discussions, and contribute to strategic planning and execution of QA management tasks.
  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  • Monitor progress milestones and deliverables.
  • Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members.
