About The Position

This is a trainee position for a Quality Engineer. The role involves supporting Prime Customers with first articles and corrective actions, reviewing contracts and specifications, planning and implementing quality initiatives, managing MRB & RMA's, performing audits, participating in RCCA investigations, assisting with supplier quality, and implementing/managing QMS software. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, possesses a good work ethic, can communicate effectively at all levels, and has a positive attitude with a desire to learn.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Material or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Self-starter, motivated and resourceful
• Detail oriented and possess a good work ethic
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing
• Positive attitude and a desire to learn
• Must be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident (“green card” holders) or have refugee or asylee status due to ITAR and EAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• QE support of Prime Customers for first articles and corrective action
• Reviewing contracts, specifications, purchase orders, and planning
• Planning and implementing quality initiatives throughout the organization
• Managing & tracking MRB & RMA’s
• Performing internal & external audits
• Participating in RCCA investigations as required
• Assist in supplier quality support and development
• Implement and Manage QMS software
