Quality Engineer Trainee
About The Position
This role is for a Quality Engineer Trainee who will provide support to Prime Customers for first articles and corrective actions. The position involves reviewing contracts, specifications, purchase orders, and planning. The trainee will also be responsible for planning and implementing quality initiatives, managing and tracking MRB & RMA's, performing internal & external audits, and participating in RCCA investigations. Additionally, the role includes assisting in supplier quality support and development, and implementing and managing QMS software. This position is subject to compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations, requiring the incumbent to be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or have refugee or asylee status.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Material or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Self-starter, motivated and resourceful
- Detail oriented
- Possess a good work ethic
- Able to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing
- Positive attitude and a desire to learn
- Must be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident (“green card” holders) or have refugee or asylee status due to ITAR and EAR regulations.
