About The Position

As a Quality Engineer Specialist within PNC's Technology - Digital Retail organization, you will support AOP (Account Opening Platforms) - Retail Digital Accounts, a team responsible for digital account opening and related banking capabilities across consumer banking, business banking, payments, investments, and platform services. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Masters, QE Leads, and other technology partners to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible for validating application changes, identifying defects early in the development lifecycle, and helping ensure releases meet quality standards, governance requirements, and customer expectations. Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes detailed test plans, ensuring they align with team, strategy, and program goals.
  • Provides input to the testing approach, tools, and technologies to be used for projects.
  • Ensures access to test environments is complete and escalates all issues and risks to the team for resolution.
  • Escalates Quality Engineer tool/data specific issues to Quality Engineer leaders. Works with the team to prioritize and retest/disposition defects. Identifies potential process and tool improvements.
  • Participates in Team Planning, providing estimation of timeline and resource needs to meet testing goals.
