Quality Engineer/ Specialist - Compliance

About The Position

This role is within the Quality Compliance Team, which provides intelligent connected technologies to monitor and control energy extraction assets. The Quality Compliance Engineer/Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), the Multisite Certification Program, conducting ISO and/or API audits, and ensuring regulatory or industry standards are integrated into quality systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or Global degree equivalent)
  • At least 5 years of functional quality experience
  • Certified Auditor status ISO 9001:2015 and/or API Q1/API Q2 or deemed subject matter expert for Oil & Gas industry quality standards
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Able to speak and write English fluently

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations for compliance with regulatory, statutory, or industry standards requirements as a member of the Internal Audit and Compliance Team.
  • Assess the compliance of systems, processes, and procedures through internal audits.
  • Participate in assigned improvement projects.
  • Provide feedback in the form of audit findings and observations, and review corrective actions.
  • Provide regional support on regulatory and industry standards expertise.
  • Raise corrective action requests for identified nonconformities, follow up, and review effectiveness until closure.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for industry standards, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
  • Identify and/or implement regulatory compliance initiatives based on current and forthcoming regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in HSE programs as assigned.
  • Maintain work areas of the facility in a safe, clean, and organized manner at all times in accordance with the 6S Checklist.
