About The Position

You will lead site-level quality efforts to assess and resolve complex quality issues across multiple value streams, influencing operations, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers. You will drive QMS and PQP deployment, lead cross-functional projects, and serve as a certified auditor in an onsite, production-focused environment (1st shift, 5x8 days).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree (or 3 years with an advanced degree)
  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex, multi-value-stream quality issues and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Certified scheme auditor (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) required or strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with quality tools and methods: A3/8D/DMAIC, RCA, CAPA, PFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA (gage R&R), PPAP/FAI, and change control
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications; familiarity with GD&T preferred
  • Data analysis competency with statistical tools (e.g., Minitab or equivalent) and KPI/dashboard experience
  • Excellent communication and influence skills across executive, manager, and shop-floor personnel
  • Proven ability to work independently, lead larger-scope projects and high-performance teams

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace industry experience or similar regulated industry background (highly preferred)
  • MRB/issue disposition authority preferred
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Familiarity with supplier/customer site interactions and corporate audit processes

Responsibilities

  • Own deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and PQP tools at the site or across sites
  • Lead creation and updating of FMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and related documentation
  • Lead structured problem solving for complex issues using A3, 8D, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone and drive root-cause elimination and CAPA effectiveness
  • Facilitate and adjudicate MRB activities; verify containment and corrective/preventive actions
  • Manage process capability and control activities: SPC, Cp/Cpk, MSA/gage R&R, and data-driven decision making
  • Plan and lead qualification/validation activities (PPAP/FAI) and manage configuration/change control for product/process quality
  • Lead supplier performance assessments, containment, audits, and corrective actions; maintain customer and supplier communications for significant quality events
  • Plan and execute internal audit activities and represent the site during external audits; drive closure of findings
  • Participate in or lead cross-functional projects, communicate status to stakeholders, and create containment actions for risks
