About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin Quality Engineer supporting F-35 and Fabrication operations. Responsible for work product quality and continual assessment of manufacturing product and process yield as assigned to a specific fabrication or assembly area. Deploy standard Quality Engineering methods and tools. Utilize statistical methods and preventive action methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets. Perform quality and cost data analysis. Lead root cause, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations and supplier quality integration tasks. Conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessments and validate key process capabilities. Deliver effective methods and initiate improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance reducing area defects and Scrap, Rework, Repair cost. Collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement. This position supports a facility that requires special access. Interim Secret Clearance to start. A level 5 employee Typically has 8+ years of professional experience.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Familiarity with AS9100
  • Experience in leading engineering teams
