Reports to the Quality Manager and responsible for program support activity ensuring processes are established to assure products are compliant, as outlined in the Quality Manual, contract/SOW, and related technical documents. This should be done through planning, evaluation, and monitoring activities of the quality system, and by developing, applying, and maintaining those quality systems for manufacturing processes, materials, specifications, products, policies, and procedures. Also, you will be required to investigate, recommend, and implement continuous improvements across the organization by holding events throughout the year. You will maintain an advanced knowledge of electronics, inspection of counterfeit electronic components, and the understanding of all required testing for the mitigation of counterfeit material. You will interface with Program Management Office, engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to resolve Quality issues in a timely manner by determining root cause, devising corrective/preventive action, closing out related documentation and reporting results to management. Responsible to lead technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure quality objectives are achieved. You must possess the ability to lead a cross functional team through formal problem-solving events and workshops. You are to possess a strong, working knowledge of lean practices and techniques and the ability to apply those principles in an aerospace manufacturing environment in the context of quality improvement.
