About The Position

In this exciting role as a Quality Engineer on the Plymouth Nathan Lane Sustaining Quality Engineering team, you will serve as the quality voice and subject matter expert across a broad range of sustaining engineering activities supporting the Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) platform. This role provides an opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality, manufacturing performance, and business continuity. Responsibilities will span day-to-day manufacturing support, capacity expansion, equipment end-of-life replacement, yield improvement, technology and process changes, quality improvement, and Lean transformation initiatives. You will partner closely with a broad cross-functional team—including Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Regulatory, and other functional organizations—to identify risks, develop solutions, and implement sustainable improvements that strengthen our products and processes. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical judgment, and the ability to influence across functions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and compliance. This is an in-person/on-site position at the Plymouth Nathan Lane facility with very limited travel required. The Plymouth Nathan Lane facility supports the Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Operating Unit (OU). PVH brings together multiple peripheral vascular businesses into one cross-functional and collaborative operating unit, leveraging the breadth of our talent, technologies, products, services, and solutions to address the needs of customers and patients around the world. As a member of the Sustaining Quality Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued quality, reliability, compliance, and performance of products throughout their lifecycle while enabling the organization to respond effectively to evolving business and customer needs. Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree and 0 years relevant experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
  • U.S. work authorization sponsorship (H-1B, TN, J, etc.) is offered exclusively for Principal-level roles and above. Roles below the Principal level require candidates to possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

  • Experience reviewing technical documentation
  • Previous process validation experience (including installation qualifications, process characterization, operational and performance qualifications)
  • Previous experience with developing, executing, and analysis of Test Method Validations
  • Previous experience with Master Validation Records and Risk Management documentation (including DFMEA and PFMEA)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • General understanding of project management

Responsibilities

  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
