About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) Associate for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX. The position develops mechanical engineering experience, producing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured mechanical products. Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM related field
  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T).
  • Experience reviewing quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality, test, and inspection methods and translate into work instructions.
  • Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment.
  • Experience with the following manufacturing and inspection processes such as: Tooling, Mechanical assembly, Paint, Weld, Sheet metal, Machined parts
