Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX supporting the PrSM program. The position will require working flexible hours with some travel to support Lockheed Martin production sites and suppliers across the United States. Our team is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems to ensure the production of high-quality materials and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in a STEM related discipline from an accredited college
  • Experience with or certification in lean manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma
  • Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise (up to 25% travel)
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.
  • GD&T familiarity
  • Strong problem-solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques
  • Ability to Interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems
  • Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes
  • Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis
  • Auditing quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies
  • Ensuring corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation is compliant with requirements
