About The Position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Early Career Data Quality and Analyst Engineer. In this role, you will 1) perform data capture, compilation, processing, analysis, integration, delivery, and reporting; 2) collaborate and coordinate with data owners and users, application teams, and suppliers to understand issues, trends, and patterns; and 3) apply problem-solving techniques to assess and drive data, system, and process improvements. The successful candidate will have knowledge of data manipulation and analysis techniques using spreadsheets, databases, or equivalent and experience with successfully solving problems using research methodologies or tools. Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline like Data Engineering or Science, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering or Science, or Software Engineering from an accredited school
  • Proficient with collecting, compiling, and/or processing datasets using formulas, charts, queries, tables, and/or databases
  • Coursework in or experience with formal presentation development and delivery using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • This position will require a government security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Basic experience performing queries using Standard Query Language (SQL)
  • Familiar with eXtensible Markup Language (XML)
  • Familiar with software coding/scripting in Python, Visual Basic, or equivalent
  • Basic experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
  • Coursework in or application of mathematical modeling or statistical methods
